Hey Jeremy, thought you might be interested in this.

Cagliari Calcio is exploring the opportunity of playing some matches possibly in the USA or Asia. Not since the 1970's has the team played friendlies outside of continental Europe. The tour will be part of the preseason program. Dates and tour yet to be confirmed.

It would be great to see the boys come down under but most european teams prefer to chase the big money that Asia offers.

With not much more to play for this year I must say the feeling of content is quite overwhelming. My money is on Reggina scrapping a narrow victory. I must admit to having a bit of a soft spot for the Calabrians after last seasons miracle but this year they have been pure shite. That scrappy draw against us earlier in the season will go down as the worst game in Serie A this year. I have seen some other highlights of Reggina this year and the funny thing is, they can actually play patches of reaaly good football. Unfortunately they can aslo play extended periods of sheer and utter bollocks. Simply put, we should beat them, but never underestimate a team fighting for survival which is something we should be experts at by now.

I have a close relative who is working in the technical and conditioning side for the team, (hence my dodgy rumours), the good news is our Russian boy is developing beyond expectations. He has been training the roof off and has picked up some niggling injuries. As it stands he will figure as a major part of our team moving forward. And supporters, sleep well because I have been assured that he is certainly no Larrivey.
